On a weekly basis, brothers and sisters will have the oppourtunity to connect with the Quran by reciting it one-on-one to help improve their pronunciation of  the letters and to familiarize themselves with the rules of Tajweed.  We hope through this that confidence in reciting the Quran is achieved and a love for it is instilled in the hearts.

Weekly Halaqah

General Halaqas will be conducted every week for both brothers and sisters on various topics of interest, such as gems from the Quran, the lives of the Prophets and the Seerah of the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wasallam.  The objective of this program is to enable our members to have a certain level of Islamic education on campus to help build and maintain an Islamic identity.  

Crash Courses

Islamic crash courses are a means of providing a basic element of understanding of Islam.  It provides students the basics of the religion that are practical in our day-to-day lives.  The courses will also bring about a sense of Islamic education and environment in the community that will in sha Allah be a means of improving one’s understanding of Islam and their identity as a Muslim.

Networking Events

An oppourtunity to meet Muslim professionals from various disciplines to receive academic and professional advice on career searching, writing up a resume and cover letter, preparation for interviews, and more. 

Workshops

Crash size workshops aim to provide a foundation and practical learning for individuals in their academics.  Ranging from exam preparations, study tips, time management and leadership development. 

Tutoring

Tutoring is available for anyone who desires academic help from senior students.  The schedule is flexible upon availability of the tutors and the students.  This program will Insha Allah bring forth a healthy environment of providing academic help to achieve success and to help foster positive relationships between junior and senior students.
